Q: What is a Drip Campaign?

A letter-style email or a series of emails that can be sent to a contact or yourself.

Q: What are the components of a Drip Campaign?

There are three components of a drip campaign:

  • Letter: A letter is an email. It can be simple text only or can be designed using the modern editor to contain images, link listings, etc.
  • Campaign: A campaign is a series of one or more letters. You can have as little as one letter in a campaign, and there is no maximum.
  • Campaign Tag: A campaign tag is how contacts are signed up to receive a drip campaign. Think of the tag as the connector between the contact and the campaign.

Q: How do I make a Drip Letter?

  1. Go to Marketing > Drip Campaign Letters via your left navigation bar.
  2. Go to Agent Letters via the top navigation.
  3. Click the + New button.
  4. Create a Name and Description for your letter. This is for your reference only (not client-facing).
  5. Create a client-facing Subject name.
  6. Create your content with the Classic Editor or the Modern Editor

→The Classic Editor uses a classic document-style interface to create a simple letter.

→The Modern Editor allows you to do more advanced styling with various block components that are customizable.

  1. Use Data Fields (such as Name, Email Signature, etc.) to create an automatically filled section that will be customized for each client.
  2. Save your progress along the way with the Save button.

Pro Tip: You can also create a Drip Letter by copying an existing letter and editing it.

Q: What types of Drip Campaigns can I create?

There are 3 different types of Drip Campaigns:

  1. By Schedule: Set a schedule for when the letters should be delivered based on an arbitrary start date (Day One).
  2. By Date: Set a schedule for delivery based on a specific calendar date for each letter (for example: Valentine’s Day).
  3. By Event: Set a schedule for a delivery based on an event in the contact’s record (for example: home anniversary or birthday).
